ADHD Assessments
Assessments include a clinical session, digital assessment (MOXO) and collecting information from the school. There is no requirement to be assessed by a psychologist prior to our ADHD assessment.

Assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mood disorders (including depression, bipolar, etc.) alongside the option of pharmacology, if required.

Anxiety and OCD
Assessment and treatment of anxiety-based disorders (generalised anxiety, panic attacks, phobia) and/or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders

Medications Advice
Medication advice could be offered for various conditions if indicate, including Second-Opinion.

Epilepsy and Brain injury
We could work with you, alongside your neurologist, attending to behavioural and emotional issues stemming from an underlying neurological condition and/or medications.

Autism and other developmental disorders
The clinic could offer a diagnosis of Autism, and when applicable, medication advice for patients with Autism and Intellectual disability.
Gifted Children
Based on rich experience with working with families of gifted children, the clinic could offer assessment and advice for twice-exceptional children.
Meet Dr. Yariv Doron (MD, RANZCP)
Dr. Yariv Doron is a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist working in New Zealand. He has more than a decade of experience in various issues relating to the Mental Health and Development of children and adolescents, including diagnosis and treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, OCD, to name a few.

In addition, Dr. Doron offers his experience in the field of Neuropsychiatry for clients who present with complex emotions and/or behaviours relating to underlying neurological issues (such as Epilepsy, brain trauma, etc.).

The clinic offers Video-based assessments (i.e. Telehealth) which Dr. Doron has been using for several years.
Telehealth is a means to bridge over geographical distance while providing a therapeutic space with the comfort of your own home.
Meet Rebecca Spick (Admin)
Rebecca Spick is our Admin Manager. Rebecca has a Bachelor of Sport and Leisure Studies from Waikato University. Over the last 9 years, Rebecca has been raising her 3 young children with her husband, Mike, in New Plymouth, Taranaki. Family life is a priority for her at the moment, with two children at primary school and one at Kindergarten. Working for Space of Mind Solutions has given her the flexibility to work and juggle a young family. She enjoys the diversity of the job and communicating with people and families.
Rebecca enjoys tramping, camping, the beach, sports and anything outdoors, especially with family and friends.
